How can we help?

What times of the year is the park open?

We are open for holiday homes fifty weeks out of the year – we are open over Christmas and closed the 16th to the 30th of January.

Our residential park homes can be used at all times of the year.

What makes a holiday home different to a residential home?

A holiday home is seen as a second home and, according to our license, you need to have a main home address elsewhere to buy a holiday home here. In other words, you can't buy a holiday home at Mowbreck Park and use it as your main home.

However, a residential home can be your main year-round home. All our park homes have a Mobile Home Agreement and are protected by the Mobile Home Act 2015.

What services are included?

All our holiday homes are fully connected to mains services. You can also connect telephone and satellite dishes on request. On the site we have a public phone, a visitor’s WC and a launderette, which has been newly refurbished. Residential homes operate in the same way as normal home ownership.

How much will I pay?

The prices of our residential homes vary depending on the state of the housing market, although we are currently full to capacity with 28 park homes. Holiday homes can similarly vary in price depending on age, condition, style and furnishings, but we do permit you to sell on your holiday home afterwards through the office, on a commission basis.
