What happens if our party breaks or loses something in our caravan?

At Mowbreck Park, we want everyone to enjoy a safe and comfortable stay. To help protect our accommodation, we ask all guests to agree to a £100 security deposit.

You will be required to make the pre-authorised payment when checking-in at the office.

This deposit is a pre-authorised payment and will only be charged if one of the measures below apply during your stay:

- Missing items – This includes appliances, furniture, bedding, towels, TVs.

- Damaged property – For example: broken TVs, smashed mirrors, damaged fixtures, or broken windows/doors. If items are reported during their stay this will be evaluated at the time to see if accidental. (Don’t worry, we won’t charge for the odd broken glass or plate.)

- Excessive mess – If the accommodation is left in a poor state or condition that will require additional cleaning and can’t be re-let the same day.

- Unacceptable behaviour – Mowbreck Park operates a zero-tolerance policy for any discriminatory, threatening, or violent behaviour. Under any of these circumstances Mowbreck Park has the right to terminate your occupation of your holiday accommodation, if in the opinion of the Park Manager the above guidelines have been breached.

Please Note:
The £100 pre-authorisation is not charged upfront - it will only be claimed in the unlikely eventuality of one of the above reasons.

We are a friendly, family-run park. Our aim is always to be fair - any accidental damage reported during your stay will be handled with understanding.
